Irish for a day: How to make a Caskmates Irish Coffee

May 2, 2017

Making Irish coffee without Irish whiskey is the ultimate faux pas.

Irish coffees are a classic cocktail you can serve any time of day. Jameson Caskmates has sweet cocoa and butterscotch notes which go perfectly with a high quality bean blend.

Here’s a recipe that will give your flat white a bit of bite.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbs Jameson Caskmates
  • 180mL strong black coffee
  • 1 tbs Irish cream
  • Whipped cream
  • Grated chocolate

Method:

Put the brown sugar into a mug and pour in the whiskey and coffee. Slowly, pour Irish cream over the back of a spoon into the mug. Cover it with as much whipped cream and chocolate as your heart desires.
