Chandon Rosé is our little ode to the fruit that calls Australia home, and it sings thanks to the careful blending of wines from the Strathbogie Ranges, Whitlands Plateau and Yarra Valley. Up here, the cool climate helps our Pinot Noir vines thrive, and that elegant, rose-petal pink hue is our secret little love letter to one of Australia’s favourite red grapes.

This bottle is layered with the refreshing flavours of redcurrant, cherry sorbet and pink grapefruit zest alongside delightfully dry notes of hazelnut and biscuit. To bring out their natural, vibrant flavours the vines enjoy breathing the cool, mountain air of Victoria’s high country. 11/11/2013(Multi-regional Australia))Palish pink colour, turning to a salmon shade. Youthful and somewhat simple grapy aromas, suggesting strawberry and crab apple jelly. It's soft and smooth in the mouth with a lick of sweetness in good balance, the finish clean and refreshing and not overtly sweet. Fairly young and not very complex, but an appealing drink, and finishes cleanly.

10/2/2015Fresh, youthful and quite pale fuchsia-pink colour. The bouquet is delicate and restrained, clean and fresh, with some red fruit nuances, while the palate is dry and slightly firm, with restrained and quite youthful flavour. A clean, beautifully made wine, if a tad young.

9/10/2015Full orangey salmon colour - roasted salmon, that is. The bouquet is dry and savoury, developed and mellowed. The wine is soft and rounded in the mouth, with obvious sweetness. There is pleasant and appropriate degree of development, so it's not simple and fruity, but neither is it all that complex. Lots of flavour and a slightly bitter, savoury, nettley aftertaste.

12/12/2016Deep glowing salmon-flesh pink, the colour of a young rosé. The wine is very fruity, young and grapy on nose and palate. It's generously flavoured and textured and is dense and fleshy, rich and big hearted, with lasting flavour and good balance.

10/3/2020Bold, youthful salmon-pink colour with traces of purple remaining. The aroma is distinctly pinoty with strawberry, red cherry and subtle charcuterie notes. The wine is flavoursome and soft, rich and rounded, with lovely balance and great drinkability. A winning style. And great value.

18/6/2020Medium salmon-pink colour, fresh and attractive. The bouquet shows some appealing age development in the mix, as well as fresher fruit notes. The wine is light-bodied and intense, with a lasting aftertaste and crisp clean lines. Smoked charcuterie, strawberry, cherry and quite complex pinosity. The palate has texture, richness and delicacy all at the same time. A lovely wine indeed, and oh so drinkable. Amazing value.

6/7/2021Full, shrill, fuchsia-pink colour, with a similarly obvious nose of strawberry pinot fruit, not a subtle wine but an overt, fruity style. The taste is more restrained, again grapy and red-fruited, finishing pleasantly clean and dry. It tastes a bit more subtle than it looks. A generous mouthful of sparkling rosé

21/1/2025Deep, bold salmon-pink colour, at the darker end of the rosé spectrum. There are bright stewed quince and dried rose-petal aromas, while the palate is bold, youthful and cleansingly dry, fading a little at the end, with a drying tannin grip. A big flavoured sparkling rosé
