Vibrant colour with an open nose of a red berry and orange zest tart. There is freshness on the palate with light red berries and bright cherry with a hint of cream and a clean and refreshing acidity.
Fighting Gully Road is a boutique winery from Beechworth. It combines the considerable viticultural knowledge of Mark Walpole, one of Victoria's most respected grape-growers, with the impressive winemaking nous of Adrian Rodda, one of Beechworth's rising stars.
Now, more than ever, it’s so important to support local victorian producers. Please pick up a bottle from around the state & help us to help them. Available at select stores.
10/12/2025Medium salmon colour; smoky aroma, with an initial reductive note. The wine is bright and intense on the tongue with lively acidity, creating a little astringency in tandem with phenolics. There could be a touch of barrel in this. It's savoury and more-ish, with flavours that keep you coming back for more.
