Product Details

Beresford wines capture the timeless elegance, powerful complexity and unique essence of McLaren Vale, resulting in wines of great substance, balance and depth.

Their McLaren Vale Shiraz is a beautiful example of this, lifted spicy cloves, hints of musky redskin with a vanilla bean spice, and faint zataar notes. Fig seed with spicy ripe red plum. Complex dark fruit conserves the aromas of mulberry and blackberry. A rich full palate, with freshly mulberry fruits. The subtle use of oak further adds complexity with good flavor and balance with some fine, powdery tannins evident. A well-balanced wine with great depth, length, and structure.

30/8/2022Intense shiraz with plum, cassis, dark berry, chocolate/mocha, vanilla pod and spicy oak flavours. Age-worthy wine that's well-structured but certainly not over-extracted.

11/1/2022An enticing mix of vanilla and nutmeg complement a ripe mix of plums, bramble and spiced cherries. This has a lovely flow and presence delivered with breadth yet focus. It's a riper full-bodied style with excellent balance and poise.

14/9/2022deep and vibrant ruby in the glass with Mulberry and chocolate aromatics. Medium to full-bodied dark berry and plum fruit fill the mouth, as it flows, we see a layer of dark chocolate and coffee offer character and interest. Tannins are supple and work in harmony with the fruit weight and offer good length. A slightly lighter-weight shiraz from the Vale which still offers the classic notes

3/1/2024Deep ruby core, fading at the rim. Blueberry jam and wood oil aromas. Palate shows blue fruits but feels a little faded, leaving overbearing coconut oak characters. Tannins are present but lack precision to focus so it finishes loosely knit

21/1/2026Tar and raspberry mix with violets on the nose. The palate is awash with flavours of chocolate, earth and dark red berries, caged by fine and chewy tannins that impart a savoury edge. It offers a lovely mix of savoury to fruit flavours and the structure is firm yet feathery in its delivery. Great value
