Product Details

If variety is the spice of life, then Chandon Brut is a perfectly seasoned little sparkling. A mix of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier grapes are all carefully selected from cool climate locations across Victoria’s high country. It’s the changes in altitude, age and aspect that can create something deliciously unexpected.

The result is a fresh, vibrant finish with hints of apple sorbet, lemon zest, sourdough and nougat. It’s diversity that makes the difference – and luckily for us, we’ve got it in spades.A true crowd-pleaser, pick up a bottle of Chandon NV Sparkling Brut 750ml at your local Liquorland today.

11/11/2013(Multi-regional: Yarra Valley, Strathbogie, King Valley, Coonawarra) Light to medium, straw yellow colour. Fresh and clean, if young, aromas of lemon curd, straw and hay. The palate is dry and savoury, light and lean, but also quite long. The finish is properly dry and firm clean and lingering. Fairly straightforward but good.

10/2/2015Light straw colour. The bouquet is straightforward and fairly shy, quiet and clean, savoury and dry on the palate with straw flavours, balanced and clean and very drinkable if not complex.

9/10/2015Very large bubbles and a very light straw-grey tinged colour. Some meringue-like aromas, but essentially fairly young and straightforward. The palate is soft and fairly dry, savoury and flavoursome, with some smoky charcuterie-like nuances, probably from pinot noir. Good flavour and balance, with richness and amplitude. Very good in a fresh, youthful style.

12/12/2016Light, bright yellow colour and a creamy patisserie aroma, which is fresh and fairly youthful, the palate soft, light to medium weight and gentle, with impeccable balance for popular drinkability. The texture is creamy and the finish, though not very dry, is certainly brut and has the balance to appeal to a broad market.

10/3/2020Very light yellow colour, bright. Fresh, young aromas of meringue, iced pastries and spun sugar. The wine is light and straightforward, but fresh and clean, with a pleasingly modest level of dosage sweetness. Nice wine and good value. This style should be very popular.

18/6/2020The bouquet is floral and scented, with notes of talcum powder and dried flowers. The palate is soft, round and ample, full rather than refined, the acidity very gentle. It's about flavour and softness as opposed to tension and acid drive. A real crowd-pleaser.

6/7/2021Light yellow colour, bright and clear with a good froth of bubbles, the bouquet straw-like, dried-herbal and a whisper of lavender. The palate is fuller and round, with a trace of sweetness and a little roughess of texture. The shape of the wine is full and rounded and forward in the mouth, quite a contract to the NV blanc de blancs tasted beside it, which is tighter, finer and more linear.

25/2/2015This wine has the appealing and slightly perfumed aroma of champagne with hints of strawberry and aromatic yeastiness on the palate. The texture is reasonably ethereal. The wine has a dry and very slightly bitter finish
