11/6/2013Made from grenache, mataro and shiraz. Pale tawny colour with brown tinges. The aromas are earthy, leathery and savoury with some old leather Chesterfield lounge aromas. Attractive sweet aroma. The palate is quite light, but well flavoured and mellow, not too youthful or strident, plenty of sweetness which is dried off nicely on the finish with a combination of acid, tannin and some older material in the blend. Good wine.*Wine Rank: #22 of 23 - NV Off-dry and sweet, fortified wines from Barossa Valley
