16/3/2021Deep, darkling purple/red colour, with a bouquet of wood-smoke and undergrowth. The wine is full-bodied and somewhat subdued in its fruit expression while the tannins are very abundant and quite firm, leaving a determined grip at the finish. Latent cherry and plum. A big, generous, solidly built shiraz that will reward cellaring.

13/8/2025Discreet spices and smoky plums on the nose; fleshy and rich in the mouth with sumptuous flavour and ripe fruit suppleness, the tannins balanced and relatively easygoing while they supply a drying, authoritative finish.

4/2/2025Opaque core into a deeply tinted ruby-red rim. Mulberry, dried rosemary, ageing beef and dark spices on the nose. Powerful, dense and a fantastic balance of ripe black fruits and savoury depth. Anise, iodine, blood and stone notes all fill through, ebbing and flowing on the back of powerful granular tannins that guide the power to a phenomenally long and pitch-perfect finish. It’s the power without pretence that truly makes this wine appealing
