17/1/2023Deep-ish red without appreciable purple tints remaining, the bouquet elusive, with subtle crushed-leaf and red fruit nuances apparent, the palate lean and sinewy, suggesting not all the grapes were not quite there in ripeness. Astringency lingers.

Aaron Brasher
23/5/2023A youthful red in the glass. Leafy, lifted aromas along with red and blue fruits and a touch of bramble. Bright and fresh on the palate, mint, blueberry and cedar flavours along with firm, slightly greener tannins and lively acidity. Quite dry on the finish with real firmness which requires protein.

Huon Hooke
22/12/2024Very deep, bright, youthful purple-red colour. Good depth of blackberry aromas, fresh and ripe and varietally true. The wine is medium-full bodied and rich with pleasing powdery tannins and smart cabernet structure, the finish ploughing long and satisfying. Lively and balanced, and has cellaring potential. Really keen value at the price.
