Innocent Bystander Naturally Innocent Field Blend is a fresh take on the natural wine movement - all the texture, complexity and wild personality you’d expect, without losing the easy-drinking charm Innocent Bystander is known for.
Made as a field blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Albariño from the King Valley, this white wine embraces minimal intervention winemaking with natural fermentation, minimal filtration and a cloudy appearance that proudly leans into its untamed side.
Light gold in colour, the wine opens with aromas of fresh melon, juicy lemon and citrus zest before rolling into a rich textural palate layered with apricot, stone fruit and pineapple wrapped around a savoury dry finish and racy acidity.
Complex enough for adventurous drinkers, approachable enough for everyone else, this is the kind of bottle built for long lunches, shared plates, charcuterie boards and sun-drenched afternoons where nobody’s checking the time.
10/2/2025Very light colour for its age; crisp, light, straightforward aroma and flavour, with a lot of creamy lees characters and a lemony taste which is quite high in acidity, ensuring a refreshing finish. A wine of energy and drive, a really quite impressive blend.
