This vintage is drinking superbly and you can expect to enjoy the wine's smooth and gentle fruit on the front palate, a lengthy middle palate that finishes with some edgy Cabernet tannins. The palate has some real depth, with dark plums and berry fruit, cooking chocolate and spicy oak integrating with a persistent finish.'Langhorne Creek, near Lake Alexandrina, South Australia, supplies large volumes of high quality grapes to Australia's biggest wine brands...The region's comparatively high yields and quality appeal as much to the accountants as they do to the winemakers – though it’s a pity to see so much of this material blended anonymously away. Local growers such as the Follett family, however, make excellent wines bearing the regional name. The family's 2012 Bernoota gives sensational drinking at the price.
