24/5/2017Light to medium brick-red colour with a tint of purple. It's light and forward. The bouquet is shy and low-key, earthy and stemmy and lacks intensity of good ripe pinot fruit. There are strong vegetal and stemmy notes from whole-bunch fermentation. The wine is medium-weight, lean and quite pleasant without being exciting.

7/5/2017Pronounced herbaceous on the nose with thyme and stems. The fruit is quite tart and lively and the palate is a mix of sweet fruit, herbs and savouriness. Quite good flavour but a little too tart for my liking. And it all depends how much you like whole-bunch in your pinot. I feel the proportion is a tad too high in this wine for the weight of the fruit
