Long Rail Gully Riesling is a lively wine full of character. Abundant in fresh lime citrus fruit flavours which linger to a crisp refreshing finish. The Riesling is drinking very well now and will age with grace for years to come. The flavour rich fruit produced a wine with a lifted nose of confectionary, lime and citrus. The palate is fresh and lively with a classic crisp refreshing finish typical of good cool climate Riesling. Will reward that patient enough to stash it away for another 10+ years.
22/9/2020Lime juice, green apple and lightly leafy aromas gain added dimension from hints of smoky-reduction and leesy notes that may suggest some old oak influence. It has an intense core of lime juicy fruit, but texture and savoury appeal are just as important. It finishes dry, fresh and zippy.
*Wine Rank: #8 of 21 - 2019 Riesling from Canberra District
