3/4/2018Medium to full red/purple, a good hue but a lighter colour than usual with young shiraz. The bouquet is all about leather, with some spicy peppery and jammy inflexions. In the mouth, it's high-acid and lean, a bit scrawny really, and lacking dimension. The peppery, herbal notes suggest some underripe fruit. A lighter style, medium-bodied at best. A pleasant enough wine if you're not expecting it to be like a conventional shiraz.

28/9/2017With grapes sourced from forty-year-old vines, and an average yield of under one tonne per acre, this is a rich and intense wine with good personality. The nose is wildly aromatic with raspberry fruit and a creamy oak overlay. The medium-bodied palate is lively and taut with just-ripe cherry flavours. Decanting is recommended to open the fruit. Very youthful now and will benefit from a little time in bottle to mellow before drinking

11/7/2018Light to medium colour density. Light aromatics of musk and red cherries. Medium-bodied with raspberry flavours, soft tannins and integrated acidity. A modern shiraz, lighter in body but packed with flavour.
