Product Details

A sensational cool climate Pinot Noir from Tasmania. At first the taste is supple and delicate, but soon bursts with richness and power as trademark Pinot Noir flavours fill the mouth. Sweet lifted fruit on the mid-palate that is finely balanced by satisfyingly integrated tannins. It makes a great accompaniment with cured meats and soft cheeses to bring out its true flavour. Ideal for those looking for value for money, it drinks best with that special loved one.

13/12/2022Medium depth red with subtle tints of purple, the aromas very pongy at first with sulfides dominating. There is pleasant light-bodied flavour with bresaola and half-hidden cherry fruit flavours, ample tannins concluding and quite generous weight for a wine of its price. The tannins are a mite bitter on the follow-through but it's a tasty glass of pinot for the money. The nose responds to generous aeration.

30/1/2023Deep-ish red colour with purple tints, the bouquet meaty and smoky, cherry beneath, the palate tense and lean, with some bite and tang. It's more than just simple primary fruit. The palate is a touch uneven and a little hard, but it's a very decent pinot and the price is amazing.

8/4/2025Bright red-purple colour; gently meaty and dark cherry aromas, reserved and subtle but pleasant. The same on the palate: a relatively straight wine, clean, fresh and bright, if not that complex. Good wine and good value.
