This Chardonnay is crafted from select vineyards along Coastal California, where cooling Pacific breezes and diverse soils produce wines with vibrant fruit and balance. A significant portion of the blend comes from Mendocino County, known for its cooler climate and gravelly soils that balance tropical ripeness and a fresh mouthfeel. The result is a wine that captures the purity and finesse of Coastal California, with Mendocino's quality at its core. Aged six months sur lie in 30% new (mostly French) oak, this Chardonnay was fermented in both stainless steel tanks and barrels with full malolactic fermentation.

This Chardonnay opens with inviting aromas of ripe stone fruit peach and nectarine layered with hints of tropical fruit such as pineapple and guava. It offers subtle floral notes while a gentle background of barrel toast brings depth and complexity. On the palate, the wine is creamy and richly textured, balanced by a juicy freshness that lifts the vibrant fruit flavours. Notes of stone fruit and tropical fruit continue through, complemented by a touch of vanilla and toasted oak. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving lingering impressions of fresh fruit and delicate oak.
