Product Details

At release, the wine is a delicate light cherry red colour with brilliant clarity. The wine is highly scented with a perfume of fresh strawberry and subtle blackcurrant with underlying delicate herbal lavender notes and cinnamon spice. This is a light to medium-bodied wine with a delicate texture. On the palate, there are delicious strawberry and cherry flavours with hints of spice from French oak. Overall, the palate is both velvety and crunchy with a long, graceful and wonderfully persistent finish. The wine was matured in premium old French oak barrels - so as not to overpower the delicacy of the fruit - for 9 months before being bottled. Crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar over a medium term under ideal conditions.

29/4/2024Medium red with a faint tint of purple and aromas of sarsaparilla and stewed plums, piain and pleasant enough but straightforward. There are sinewy tannins and a tickle of acidity giving a little astringency to conclude. A decent pinot noir that would appreciate food
