Made from a diverse range of Cabernet vineyards located throughout the different sub-regions of South Australia. Capturing the perfumed varietal character and rich flavours, which create the backbone of this complex wine. This wine is beautifully structured and well noted for its longevity, rewarding with cellar time.
In the 1830s, German Lutherans arrived in South Australia, bringing their farming practices, religion and hard work ethic. The early church, however, was marked with division, and the first pastors August Kavel and GD Fritzsche disagreed on almost everything. In 1846 two separate churches were built, but the one thing everyone still agrees on is the fine strength of South Australian wines. Two Churches highlights the best of South Australia at an affordable price.
14/11/2018Full-ish red to brick-red colour showing some early development, the bouquet herbal and tobacco-like, with green vegetal nuances which have been mellowed by bottle-age. It’s very forward, the palate soft and easy with mild tannins. Light to medium-bodied and lean-ish. There's a touch of greenness in it. Not for cellaring; drink up fairly soon.
*Wine Rank: #21 of 25 - 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon from Barossa Valley
