28/2/2019Deep, youthful, concentrated red/purple colour and a rich, ripe, spicy, smoky and graphite-scented bouquet. The wine is full-bodied and flavoursome, with slightly clunky tannins and a core of fruit sweetness balanced by a drying finish. A big, solid, gutsy shiraz which needs more time.

8/5/2019This is an outstanding red wine, and it is easy to see why it is a classic. The fruit has gorgeous intensity: you'll find blackberry, mulberry and dark plum alongside chocolate and savoury oak. The palate is full-bodied and plush, with all the elements in balance. The wine will improve with cellaring, though it will be hard to resist in its youth. An excellent quality/price ratio

12/4/2023Very deep, dark, dense purple-red colour, stains the glass, while the bouquet is a riot of coconut, chocolate, vanilla and some peppery high-notes. It's very full bodied and rich, fleshy, dense and almost opulent, with lashings of soft tannins and generous helpings of everything, oak inciuded. It just needs time. A great cellaring proposition.
