Product Details

Pale pink, with peach skin hues and very fine bubbles. Classic Pinot Noir stone fruit aromas, peach and background cranberry notes in the foreground, in the background fresh dough and biscuit characters derived from long yeast ageing. In the mouth, there is a sense of finesse and delicacy. Pinot Noir fruit characters of red berry and ripe peach are on display, with some grapefruit in the background very fine acidity completes the picture, with length of flavour.

Huon Hooke
22/10/2019Pale coral-pink colour. The bouquet very toasty and smoky, nougat-like, almond meal too. The wine is delicate, refined, restrained yet intense in the mouth. The balance is properly dry, assisted by lively acidity and a slight tannin grip. Very smart bubbly, good now, but it could reward some more time in a dark place.

Huon Hooke
26/1/2026A full amber colour, deep for a sparkling rosé and the orangey tint reveals considerable age. Obvious toasty, savoury developed bouquet with quince-jelly, mandarin peel and poached fruit aromas, dried apricot as well, plus a suggestion of barley-sugar. A big, mouth-filling wine with complex flavour and a properly dry balance enhanced by a little phenolic grip, the aftertaste long-lasting, bold and satisfying. It delivers in flavour what it lacks in subtlety.
