Chenin Blanc is Coriole’s principal white variety and was first planted in 1977. Chenin Blanc is an aromatic wine that has great fruit concentration and yet shows an outstanding ability to age. It has proven to be well suited to the moderately warm climate of McLaren Vale. This is a super fresh, crunchy style of Chenin Blanc, with bright tropical fruits and thirst-quenching acidity. Tremendous drinking while the weather is warm. A delicious white wine that finishes clean with balanced acidity, well wort seeking out.
23/3/2018Light yellow colour with a confectionery-like aroma, which seems to have a lot of yeast-derived aromaticity at this stage. The palate is light and crisp and fresh, with a fruity but dry finish. A straightforward, pleasant, ready-drinking white wine.

27/11/2025Pale straw-gold colour; the aromas suggest peach nectar and fermented grass (silage), the wine is every so slightly off-dry in the mouth with a grapy generosity to it, and a volume of flavour that lingers long on the aftertaste. It would be able to take a solid chill and still taste good.
