Product Details

One of the bast examples going around. Incredibly ripe and sweet fruited bouquet and palate, showing Grenache's love for the heat; soft and ripe, warm and fleshy, with a splash of savoury spice to conclude.

Lifted aromas of dried red currant, pomegranate and mulberry. The spice aromas entice, such as clove, star anise, dried cinnamon bark, and then earthy notes intertwine. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a dense core of plush red and blue-berried fruits whilst leaning towards the savoury side. Generous and supple flavours combine with its silken texture in a wine that defines what is possible only in the Barossa Valley.

16/2/2022Very deep, youthful purple colour, with a broken rock, graphite and slightly tarry aroma, while the palate is very intense and fresh, bright, with lively firmness in the tannins, good intensity and depth of flavour and persistence. There's impressive depth and drive, which powers a very long-lasting aftertaste. A ripping wine.

15/5/2025Opaque ruby. Arresting notes of roasted red plums, dark raspberries, kelp and licorice get the senses excited. The palate delivers on what the nose promises: intense notes of blackberry coulis, bramble and sweet spices are kept in check by a backbone of inky tannins. This full-bodied delight has loads of freshness. While the fruit marries nicely to the structure at this stage, it also has great aging potential.
